Our First Meet    ***     9/17/2006

Almost 30 of our friends and neighbors showed up on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to enjoy a ride on the railroad.

David was kept busy pulling our friends and neighbors.
Here they are coming through the station.

One of the neighbors who has helped the railroad with his backhoe is Al Farlinger. He made the comment
that he has been waiting 16 years for a ride on our train. Al is the bearded guy in the grey shirt pictured in the photo
on the right. There is a close up of Al and his wife in the last Gallery photo below.

The ranks jumped ship (er uh train) and scrambled onto the other cars when little Tyler finally
convinced Eric Rohrer, our son who was recently discharged from the Navy, to run the Diesel Switcher

There go the traitors now...

Grady brought a barbeque and Colette fixed hot dogs for everyone. These were provided by John and Mike.
They were so good, you didn't dare let even your Dad hold yours while you rode the train. Because......
as Lindsey found out, it was gone when she came back!
